⭐️WHEN TO FAST?
4 days before the FULL MOON DAY
4 days before the NEW MOON DAY
⭐️HOW TO FAST?
It’s 36 hours fast.
*Fasting time starts at 7 pm a day before on Dashmi (10th day of the lunar cycle)
Have your light dinner around sunset preferably without grains.
*The day of EKADASHI fasting day.
*Next day DWADASHI ( 12th day of the lunar cycle) you can break the fast at 7 AM

⭐️WHAT TO EAT ON THE FASTING DAY?
Very light or no food!
YES- Sip Warm Water through the day
YES- Coconut water
YES-Fruits- after 12 pm
NO-Wheat, grains, millets, rice, oats, etc.
N0-Beans, lentils & pulses.
NO-Animal products, meat, eggs dairy, butter, ghee, etc.
⭐️ORDER OF EATING-
1-Without any food & water
2- Only warm water throughout the day
3-Fruits, herbal tea & water.
4- If you can not live on water & fruits in that case:
Soaked nuts /nut milk ( not more than 10)
Soaked seeds/seed milk ( not more than 1-3tbs)
Soaked dates & figs etc.( NO refined sugar)
If using salt, only raw Himalayan salt
5-If you are still hungry
1 cup of Roasted Lotus seeds & 1 steamed/baked roasted sweet potato.
With a cup of pumpkin soup.
or
Eat around sunset (7 PM)-
Steamed veggies & clear soups
