Immunity Booster Green Pea Soup
Ingredients
️Ingredients ( 2 soup bowls)
- 1 1/2 cup Green peas fresh/ frozen
- 1 tbsp onion chopped
- 1 clove of garlic/ 2 if small
- 15 gm fresh coconut
- Salt & pepper as per taste
- 1/4 tbsp Cumin seed powder
Powerful blender
Garnishing
- 1 tbsp Chopped Coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp optional chopped Basil leaves
- A squeeze of lemon (optional)
Instructions
Method
- Slice the coconut
- Steam the green peas & coconut for 10 minutes.
- ️Add steamed pea, coconut & water from the steamer to the blender.
- Blend till you get the creamy-textured liquid.
- ️Dry roast the finely chopped onion & garlic.
- Pour the blended liquid over it and add salt & pepper.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes.
- ️Garnish with coriander & basil.
- Squeeze lemon juice optional
- Serve hot!

- Total calories =225 calories approx
️In case you don’t like coconut,
- You can replace it with soaked almonds (8 pieces for 2 servings)
- I like the taste of coconut
