Sauce and Dips
Ingredients
My Kitchen essentials/ Super stars
- Green chutney
- Chick pea Hummus
- Red hot sauce/ chutney
GREEN CHUTNEY
- 2 Handfuls of washed fresh Coriander leaves
- 1 pc Tomato
- 1 pc Onion
- 1 tbsp Garlic
- 1/2-1 tbsp lemon juice,
- 7-10 pc overnight soaked cashews
- 1-2 pc Green Chilli
- salt as per taste.
- Little water to blend.
Method
- Just add all the ingredients in a powerful blender and blend until you get the creamy consistency.
- Last for a week in the fridge, cashew keeps the colour green.
WHITE CHICKPEA HUMMUS
- 2 cup cups Overnight soaked and cooked chickpea, turmeric optional.
- 1-2 pc garlic clove,
- 2 tbsp roasted sesame seeds
- 5-6 pc olive
- 1-2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2-1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and water
- Blend in a powerful blender until you get the soft creamy texture.
- *It last for a week in the fridge.
RED HOT SAUCE
- 15 pc Take dry red chilies, wash, soak and steam them.
- Blend to make the paste.
- Dry roast finely
- 1 pc chopped Garlic clove
- small onion
- 1/2-1 pc celery stick
- small piece of ginger and mix the paste in it.
- Cook little bit and add salt and pepper as per taste.
- Enjoy the hot chilly sauce.
- It last for a month in the fridge.
